The Healthy Municipality Network

The Healthy Municipality Network is a network established in 1996 to support the promotion of well-being and health in municipalities, coordinated by the National Institute for Health and Welfare. It brings together municipalities where the promotion of well-being and health is a key strategic priority and a guiding principle for their activities. 

The Healthy Municipality Network develops approaches and structures for promoting well-being and health in Finland and advances the field inte ationally as part of the WHO European Healthy Cities Network. 

The town of Keuruu was accepted as a member of the Healthy Municipality network in 2023.
