Rajatalo is located in the Keuruu Eco-Village area. The house, grounds, outbuildings and woodland are owned by the Eco-Village, but artists are free to work in the area. Artists have access to a variety of tools, machinery and workspaces. Projects aim to use recycled and natural materials, but other solutions are not ruled out. Recycled materials are also available to artists on site. A maximum of seven days is allocated for the realisation of artworks, during which time it is possible to stay and eat at Ekokylä free of charge.
Rajatalo is open all year round, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We ask that visits take place between 09:00 and 21:00. Larger groups should book their visit in advance. Guided tours of the site can be arranged on request. Unfortunately, Rajatalo is not an accessible art venue. Those with particular sensitivities or allergies should be aware of the damp damage that has occurred in the building.
