Haapamäen Suoja – films, bingo, dancing
The latest films and most popular performers at the atmospheric, historic Civil Guard House in Haapamäki
About this place
The Haapamäki Civil Guard Hall, Suoja, was completed in 1939.
Since 1976, this charming log house has been owned by Haapamäen Pallopojat ry.
The cinema’s technology was upgraded in 2012 with the introduction of digital equipment that also enables the screening of 3D films. The cinema’s sound system is also top-class.
There is seating for 120 people. Seats are not numbered. In addition
to regular screenings, at Haapamäen Elokuvat you can also enjoy opera, ballet, concerts and a variety of other events.
You can also book private screenings with us for groups of any size (please ask for a quote).
The screenings are run entirely by volunteers, and the proceeds are used both to develop our film activities and technology, and to support HPP’s football activities for players of all ages.
