The second main building on the estate, dating from 1901 and originally the steward’s house, is Kivimannila, which is also hand-carved from timber; it is mainly used for accommodation, with beds available in large dormitories for 39 people. The building’s large Wanha Tupa retains its original early 20th-century appearance and serves as an atmospheric, spacious venue for dances, pre-Christmas parties and evening gatherings.
The grounds also feature the Wanha Riihi, a building that seems to stand the test of time, and an open yet covered hayloft suitable for outdoor performances for up to 100 people.
Affordable accommodation is also available in rooms sleeping 3–12 people, accommodating around 30 guests in total, in the course accommodation building on the grounds, which was built in 1960.
Between the courtyard and the shore lies a large lawn, over a hectare in size and bordered by birch trees, which is used for baseball and football matches, recreational exercise sessions, and, if necessary, large outdoor events. You can also set out from the shore onto the waters of Lake Keurusselkä, perhaps in a church boat.
The estate has approximately 350 metres of shoreline on Lake Keurusselkä, and a 125 m² lakeside sauna with a terrace is available for hire. The sauna can accommodate around 25 people for an evening get-together, and the large sauna room can hold up to 12 people at a time. You can prepare light refreshments in the sauna’s own kitchen, whilst larger meals are brought from the kitchen in the main building. From the sauna, you can head to your own sandy beach for a swim or to the campfire site on the shore to grill some sausages.
