Keuruu Eco-Village
Keuruu Eco-Village is a community home for around 35 people and a farm covering over 50 hectares; it is non-denominational and non-partisan.
The aim of the Eco-village is to promote an ecologically sustainable lifestyle and to build a community-based village life founded on the principles of tolerance and openness.
Ekokylä offers guidance and educational programmes for schools, both within the community and beyond. Our instructors are available on request to run workshops for schools, for example, within a 50-kilometre radius of Keuruu.
Wellbeing Weekends, featuring a programme that includes dance and movement therapy workshops, art therapy sessions, yoga and other activities designed to promote wellbeing, as well as delicious organic vegetarian food and lakeside sauna sessions in a natural setting.
