Primary production

The location of primary production and the activities carried out there must be reported to the Keurusselkä Environmental and Health Protection Office. The supervisory authority will notify the operator that it has received the report and will add the activity to the register of sites subject to supervision. There is no charge for processing the report.

  • fishing and fish farming
  • the cultivation of fruit, vegetables, cereals and mushrooms

  • the transport of primary agricultural products other than milk to the next processing point in the food chain, such as a processing plant or a retail outlet
  • a limited supply of primary production goods directly to consumers.
