For new residents

The tenancy agreement is signed electronically using online banking credentials or a mobile certificate. The signatures of all parties to the agreement are always required.

Sign an electricity supply contract with the electricity supplier of your choice. Make sure your electricity contract is in force by the time you move into your new home. Keuruun Sähkö may connect your electricity as early as the day after you sign the contract.

We recommend that residents take out home contents insurance for their flats. Keuruun Asunnot has insured the residential property (the building and its structures) on its own behalf, but the insurance taken out by the company does not cover your personal belongings in the event of damage.

Home insurance provides cover in the event of damage occurring in your own flat, or if, for example, damage in a neighbouring flat causes damage to your property.

Under the law, you must notify the Digital and Communications Agency whenever your municipality of residence or your place of residence within that municipality changes.

Your permanent address determines, among other things, your tax district, polling station and access to certain social security services. It is also a good idea to notify Posti of your change of address so that your post continues to reach your letterbox. You can submit a change of address notification online via Posti’s website to both the Local Register Office and Posti.

As a general rule, flats become available on the working day following the expiry of the outgoing tenant’s tenancy agreement.

Sometimes the flat is vacant even before the lease expires, in which case the new tenant can take possession of the flat earlier than usual.

You can collect the keys to your flat from the Keuruu Flats key machine. You will receive a code via text message; enter this code into the machine and press the OK button, and the hatch will open. The machine is located to the left of the main entrance to Keuruu Town Hall. The machine is open 24/7.

At our properties, you can rent a heated parking space for a fixed monthly fee.

Parking spaces are not intended for the storage of vehicles not in regular use, such as caravans and motorcycles, outside their normal season of use. Parking in unoccupied heated spaces without having rented the space in question is prohibited.
