The ABCs of Housing
Tenancy agreement
The tenancy agreement is mainly concluded electronically. Once you have accepted a property offer, the tenancy agreement will be sent to you by email for you to sign. You can sign the agreement using a mobile certificate or your online banking credentials.
Keys and door opening
As a rule, you will only receive the keys to the flat on the day you move in. You can collect the keys from the key collection machine located at Keuruu Town Hall.
The security deposit must be paid before the keys are handed over.
You are always personally responsible for your keys, and if any are lost, we will usually have to rekey the lock; the resulting costs are always bo e by the tenant in accordance with the current price list.
If you have forgotten or lost your keys, the technical on-call service will open the door for you (tel. 0400 245615). A fee will be charged for this service.
Care and maintenance
The city’s property management staff are responsible for maintaining the properties. Winter maintenance of the courtyards around apartment blocks has been outsourced to maintenance companies. Please always report any faults or issues with the property or flat to the maintenance staff or the office.
