Criteria for selecting residents
Tenants are selected in accordance with the tenant selection criteria. Tenant selection is based on social appropriateness and financial need. In practice, these factors are assessed by taking into account the applicant’s housing needs, assets and income.
In the allocation of housing, priority is given to the homeless and other households with the most urgent housing needs, as well as those with the fewest resources and the lowest incomes. Exceptions may be made to this order of priority, as laid down in the Gove ment Decree, in individual cases.
An entry on your credit record will not prevent you from being allocated a flat, but if you have outstanding rent arrears with Keuruun Asunnot or any other landlord, you will not be allocated a flat.
The housing application is valid for six months and can also be renewed by telephone.
