    Booking school halls

    Submit your booking request directly via the Julius booking calendar(you will be redirected to another service) by registering as a user. Your request will be processed and confirmed by the administrator. Please ensure you complete all sections so that your application can be approved smoothly. Bookings are processed and confirmed by the Sports Department, and confirmation and instructions are sent to the person making the booking.

    Standard bookings for the winter season must be made by 15 June. Booking applications should be submitted via the Julius booking calendar.

    Sulis Saturdays in the hall at Kivelä School

    You can book a badminton session at Kivelä School on Saturdays between 9am and 8pm for €5 per hour. Bookings for the same week must be made by 3pm on Thursday via the Julius booking calendar. Bookings are only available on the hour. Payment for the session is made via a payment link, which will be sent to your email after the session. You cannot make a regular booking for Badminton Saturdays; instead, bookings are accepted for the next two weeks at a time. The hall’s changing room is equipped with badminton posts and a net, which each user must set up themselves and also take down at the end of their session. Rackets and shuttlecocks are also available to borrow from the changing room.

    Gyms

    The gym on the ground floor is equipped with a wide range of Technogym fitness machines. In addition, there is a refurbished weightlifting platform fitted with a squat rack. The gym also features bench press and cable machine stations. Access to the gym is available every day between 5am and 9pm with a pass purchased at the swimming pool.

    The senior gym on the upper floor is equipped with Technogym fitness machines. However, the gym is designed for strength training using weight machines. It is a so-called ‘machine room’, where you won’t find free weights. The room is well suited as a safe space for older people and beginners alike. You can only train in the room during opening hours.
