About the museum
Art and cultural history in the centre of Keuruu. Keuruu Museum serves as both an art museum and a museum of cultural history, providing cultural services to local residents through its year-round exhibitions.
Keuruu Museum
The Keuruu Museum is a professionally run museum that receives state funding. On 1 January 2026, responsibility for the Keuruu Museum’s operations was transferred from the Keuruu Museum Foundation to the City of Keuruu. As part of the process, the museum’ website and content will also be updated during the spring. We will gradually return to other, less urgent matters relating to museum operations as 2026 progresses.
The museum staff’s offices are located at Keskusaukio 3, 42700 Keuruu. For urgent matters or to book a visit, the best way to contact us is by email or telephone. The museum’s exhibition and public areas will be located on the ground floor of the same building. According to current estimates, the refurbishment work on the new premises will be completed in May 2026.
