Get stuck in – primary school clubs
The town of Keuruu is part of the ‘Finnish Model for Leisure Activities’. The aim is to support the wellbeing of children and young people by enabling every child and young person to take part in a leisure activity they enjoy, free of charge. Find out more about the model at www.harrastamisensuomenmalli.fi
The leisure activities are open throughout the season, and you can join a group even partway through the season.
The clubs are on break during school holidays, such as the autumn and Christmas holidays. The clubs also do not meet on other public holidays (Easter, Independence Day, etc.).
School extracurricular activities 2025–2026
Registration for primary school clubs took place in August, and we have been in touch with those who signed up. If you missed the registration deadline but would like to join a club, please contact the club leader in the first instance.
You can join the activity mid-season if there is space in the group.
