Osmo Ikonen is coming to Keuruu on his eagerly awaited solo tour, following the release of his new album, O2.
Concert at Kulttuuritalo Kimara on Saturday 4 April 2026 at 7 pm.
The evening will feature tracks from the new album O2, from the earlier album Yhden miehen armeija, as well as a few carefully selected cover songs.
“It’s both nerve-wracking and hugely rewarding to perform completely alone. When it’s just you and the audience in the hall – the lyrics and melodies come closer to both the listener and the performer. I aim to draw as much as possible from my own musicality and use live looping in some of the songs in a way that not many people in this country do. “It’s brilliant to be back on the road!”, says Osmo Ikonen of his upcoming tour.

On Saturday 25 April, Kulttuuritalo Kimara will host a performance of *Mies miehelle*, as Timo Lavikainen and Pasi Karppi bring this 1980s cult classic to the stage in Finnish for the first time. *Mies miehelle* is the performers’ tribute to the childhood heroes who have influenced their lives. 

The show is compiled from the legendary “Head to Head” debates between Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones, which featured in the British series *Alas Smith and Jones* (1982–1988). The iconic image from the sketch series of two men in white shirts is regarded as a symbol of the golden age of British humour.

Keuruu Swimming Pool offers a wide range of facilities for exercise. The pool area features a 25-metre fitness pool, a multi-purpose pool with jets and a virtual aqua-aerobics screen, a teaching pool, a children’s pool, and a 57-metre-long slide equipped with a timer and a tunnel. An atmospheric smoke sauna experience at Kinkamon Pirtti, surrounded by the tranquillity of nature

In the dim light and warm scent of smoke, your body sheds its excess burdens, replaced by a sense of languid calm and tranquillity, yet one that is still full of energy.
Every smoke sauna is a unique individual with its own character. You’ll hear the story of the Kinkamo smoke sauna directly from the hosts, who will personally welcome you to the sauna they built with their own hands – a sauna that has been awarded twice by the Inte ational Smoke Sauna Club. At the same time, you’ll receive a brief introduction to smoke sauna culture. You’ll hear which tree the bear scratched during the sauna’s construction and lea , for example, why water isn’t thrown onto the stove in a smoke sauna but instead poured over it.

Easter acrylic painting course at Taike Farm

3–5 April 2026: a weekend-long painting course at Taiken Farm, where colours take centre stage and your inner artist is set free. The course is led by Mari Åman, an inspiring and imaginative teacher under whose guidance the creative process feels safe, curious and surprisingly free.
This course is not about seeking perfection or the ‘right’ answers. Instead, we experiment, play, make a mess and let our hands guide our thoughts. In Taiken’s inspiring environment, you’re free to let go of control, forget about performance and let the image emerge under its own weight.
The course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. All you need is an open mind. The stunning surroundings of Taiken and the neighbouring Koivikon Hevostila will inspire you, and the colours will do the rest. At Taiken, painting isn’t just an activity – it’s permission to be creative!
