Keuruu has plenty of activities for the whole family during winter holiday weeks 8 and 9! So if you’re still wondering how to spend your winter holidays, we’ve got plenty for you to get stuck into! How about an ice sculpture event, a circus school or a lovely winter cross-country skiing trip for the kids?
The winter holiday spirit kicks off in week 8
The programme at Hotel Keurusselkä is packed with fun and delicious treats! The winter holiday programme calendar for 16 February–1 March 2026 offers plenty to do for all ages! The programme includes a skiing trip, a children’s disco, Taika-Petteri (ventriloquist, juggler and beatbox artist), a pizza buffet and Burger Friday.
Water aerobics, massage points, splashing about with water toys and relaxing in the hot tub are the perfect holiday activities.
Outdoor activities during the winter holidays are a real treat at Keurusselkä Resort: the ice-covered waterways and ski trails are perfect for getting active. At the lean-to, you can cook a snack or simply enjoy some peaceful moments at your own pace.
The restaurant is hosting a popular children’s disco, where even the youngest guests can enjoy the holiday atmosphere on Wednesdays 18 and 25 February from 5pm to 7pm.
On Wednesdays 18 February and 25 February, there’s a pizza buffet from 4 pm to 7 pm – the perfect addition to your holiday! The hotel restaurant’s à la carte menu features, among other things, delicacies from Blini Week.
The perfect winter activity
Keurusselkä Sports Park encourages the whole family to get active! The area boasts an extensive network of ski trails, a toboggan run and the magnificent, atmospheric Maastokirkko church. A sports event for the whole family – Suksisäpinät – will be held on Wednesday 18 February from 5.30 pm to 7 pm. – Free entry.
The swimming pool in Keuruu town centre also welcomes holidaymakers. The pool features a 25-metre lap pool, as well as a heated exercise pool with hydrotherapy jets and exercise programmes. For the little ones, there are two children’s pools, and for thrill-seekers, a fast-paced 56-metre-long water slide. If you’d like a private sauna, that’s possible too. Iidan Unelma’s café offers a chance to enjoy a tasty treat during the day.
