- care allowance.
- a possible municipal supplement depending on the place of residence. Keuruu does not apply a municipal supplement.
Either of the child’s parents or another guardian may apply for private childcare allowance. However, Kela always pays the allowance directly to the private carer or early years education provider. The private childcare allowance is taxable income for the early years education provider, but not for the family applying for the allowance. The childcare allowance and childcare supplement are paid for each child eligible for the allowance.
