Apply for pre-school
Pre-school education for the 2026–2027 academic year will begin in schools and nurseries on 12 August 2026 and end on 3 June 2027. Pre-school education is provided at Aurinkolinna, Haapamäki Day Care Centre and the private Tähtitarha Day Care Centre, where supplementary early childhood education is also available. In sparsely populated areas, pre-school education is provided at Einari Vuorela and Pohjoislahden schools.
