Einari Vuorela School
Einari Vuorela School is located about 10 km from the centre of Keuruu, towards Jukojärvi. The school is one of Keuruu’s primary school catchment areas.
Our guiding principle is: Let every flower bloom. Praise and encourage; don’t leave anyone behind. There’s room for everyone at school.
The school has fewer than 30 pupils. Pupils are taught in combined classes: the lower section comprises Years 0–2 and the upper section Years 3–6. The school has two class teachers, as well as provision for English lessons and special needs education. Effective pupil welfare is an integral part of the school. A school attendance officer is available at the school. Meals are prepared in the school’s own kitchen. The student council, elected in the autumn, plays an active role in school activities.
In the immediate vicinity of the school there are woods, waterways, fields, an ice rink, ski trails and hiking trails. There is a shelter along the hiking trail. The school makes use of the surrounding environment in its teaching. In winter, we watch the birds at the bird feeder in the back garden, and in autumn we enjoy the apples and berries from the garden.
The purpose of these rules and regulations is to ensure that school life runs smoothly and that the safety of all members of the school community is safeguarded every school day.
