    Invoicing of tuition fees

Tuition fees are charged in a single instalment per term (in September for the autumn term and in February for the spring term).

The term fee covers instrumental lessons, music theory lessons, and orchestra and ensemble playing; a separate term fee is charged for the minor subject. The minor subject fee is invoiced in November and April.

If a family has several children attending the music school, fees are charged in two equal instalments per term (in September and November for the autumn term, and in February and April for the spring term)

    Free introductory visit

Group lessons (music play school, dance, wind orchestra school) include ONE free taster session. If a pupil attends the group a second time, they are deemed to have joined the group permanently and will be charged the termly fee (Decision of the Adult Education Committee §21/4.6.2014).

You must always notify the office if you wish to cancel.

    Withdrawal from studies

Instrumental students must give notice of withdrawal; otherwise, they will be charged the term fee.

Notice of withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the music school office (e.g. by email). See the contact details at the bottom of the page.

To avoid being charged, submit your withdrawal notification by 31 August for the autumn term and by 31 December for the spring term.

    Sibling discount

Sibling discount – 10% (applied automatically).

    Payment reminders

For each unpaid invoice, only one payment reminder will be sent, accompanied by a written wa ing.

If payment is still not made despite this, the student’s right to study will be suspended for the term following the outstanding payment. To ensure that the right to study remains valid, autumn term fees must be paid by 31 December and full-year fees by 31 July.

Please note! You can discuss payment terms or splitting the invoice into two parts with the invoicer by contacting the music school office before the original due date.
